  Basnight's stole money from me as I had a 100 dollar gift card when they told me that the balance wasn't so. My grandchildren are too embarrassed to say anything so they just paid out of pocket (I had bought them the card for their birthday!!!). So I called later that week to complain and to see if they could pull up the meal and take care of the problem. They found the meal and said they would look into it and call me back (mind you we have been going to Basnight's for over 10 years before it burned down and all). Well, the manager never called us back.... so today we are out 100 dollars to a restaurant that I thought would be classy enough and responsible enough to take care of this. I will never eat there again!! Shameful... flat out horrible management and customer service.

  We went with a big group for dinner. The service and hospitality was first-rate. Everyone enjoyed the food. The crab soup was especially good! Our local family members are loyal fans. We understand why. Definitely worth the visit. Our best meal while we were in the Outer Banks! Locally owned and operated.

  We ate at lone cedar's tonight for the first time and it knocked our socks off!! The she crab soup was the star of the night! Next time we come I will be having the full serving for my entree. My husband says he thinks he'll have the peanut butter pie for the main course ;) overall wonderful experience and great staff - we can't wait to visit again!
